I didn't really pay attention to which haldi we were using until after the ceremony. My mom had specifically ordered this one, and now I know why. It didn't leave me struggling to get ready for the next function, and that alone made a huge difference.
Our families don't believe in applying “just a little” haldi. 😂 By the end, I was covered from head to toe. I was sure I'd spend hours cleaning up, but it was honestly much easier than I expected. One less thing to worry about on such a busy day.
The haldi ceremony turned into a full family event. Everyone joined in, nobody held back, and there was laughter everywhere. I liked that even after all of that, cleaning up wasn't difficult. It made the day feel a lot less stressful.
We were honestly expecting the usual “haldi chaos,” and we got exactly that. 😄 Everyone had fun, nobody held back, and somehow the clean-up afterwards was much easier than we thought. It let us enjoy the moment instead of worrying about what came next.
Out of everything we planned for the wedding, this was one decision we're really happy about. The haldi ceremony felt traditional, looked beautiful in all our pictures, and afterwards we weren't dealing with stubborn stains on ourselves or around the house. It just made the day easier.
Our parents wanted the haldi ceremony to feel the way weddings have always been celebrated in the family, and Riwaaj Ka Rang fit right in. It felt simple, authentic, and after all the fun, getting cleaned up was surprisingly easy.
By the end of the ceremony, we were completely covered in haldi. 😅 We kept joking about how long it would take to remove, but it actually came off much more easily than we expected. Looking back, we're just happy we could enjoy every bit of it without stressing later.
